Keny Osmin Ordonez Parabal

With six years at Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Chicacao Godínez Keny serves as both the school principal and an afternoon middle school teacher. Keny’s background includes Urban Primary Education, Systems Engineering, and Secondary Education. His passion for community service led to the founding of the municipality’s first office dedicated to serving children and youth in 2009, and his dedication to supporting recreational activities to champion youth participation. Additionally, Keny leads a band and teaches music courses.
Keny’s leadership and teaching skills motivate him to gain support for his school. Keny sees being a ConnectED Fellow as an opportunity to advocate for his school’s needs and empower his students. Despite challenges, Keny remains dedicated to serving his students and motivating his colleagues, supported by the community’s unwavering backing.
