Brenda Mishell García Locón de Tecún

Brenda is a dedicated teacher at the Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Sector Canoas Altas, where she teaches 2nd and 3rd grade. With a background in Bilingual Primary Education, Pedagogy, and Natural Sciences, Brenda loves sharing knowledge with her students. Outside the classroom, she helps children struggling with literacy and math after school and advocates for women’s empowerment through community development initiatives. Brenda believes education is a powerful tool for change and takes pride in seeing her students and community grow. Despite challenges, Brenda remains committed to her mission, aiming to dispel misconceptions about teachers and make meaningful contributions to society. Brenda is excited to join ConnectED to collaborate with others and make even more meaningful contributions.
